The group is complemented by tiag's expertise in balance scorecard and lean six sigma, delivering a comprehensive KM focus based on state of the art business process management techniques.
Knowledge Management is especially relevant in enterprise medicine and has been used throughout military medicine for understanding and implementing new health care delivery models, positively influencing clinical outcomes and supporting population health practices. tiag KM professionals have served the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Chief Information Officer community and the MEDCOM One staff in supporting instantiation of balanced score card info-structure throughout the AMEDD to provide exceptional mission focus.
The AMEDD also called upon tiag to functionally develop and specifying all metrics for its "Command Management System". This system was the first ever informatics based system that produced true management indicators for all aspects of Army Medicine. This system remains in use today as a cornerstone knowledge management system for the AMEDD in delivering strategic leadership direction for Army medicine.
Today, tiag KM staff principals lead and facilitate Army medicine's successful use of Army Knowledge Online (AKO) in support of all organizations in the AMEDD. tiag Knowledge Managers designed an informatics implementation of the "MEDKN" as Army medicine's Knowledge Management portal. The MEDKN portal is the knowledge integration and outreach tool for all of Army Medicine and was judged as the best Army-wide implementation of a knowledge management portal at both the 2009 & 2010 Army LandWarNet Symposium.
The advent of successful information technologies in the application niche of Enterprise Content Management is proving to make KM an especially practical informatics-based approach in transforming organizations into 'learning organizations'. TIAG has, and will continue to, play an active role in supporting enterprise customers in pragmatic uses of KM that will make a difference for enterprise organizations.
