Jeff’s blend of technical expertise, consultancy experience, and negotiating prowess enables clients to maximize business value. Trained as a systems software engineer, Jeff spearheaded numerous business development initiatives during his 12 years as an expert who assesses, designs, implements, and troubleshoots significant IT products and projects. Making the most of limited client resources, Jeff concentrates on facilitating large-scale projects for the DoD and other brawny organizations that operate throughout vast geographic areas, with thousands of users worldwide. Along the way, he’s become a sought-out source by leading industry magazines. He’s also positioned tiag as the “go-to” professional services partner of the Computer Associates Federal Sales Organization.
"I don’t hesitate to jump into shark-infested waters with my engineers, or with our clients. And I don’t send people to do a job that I would not be willing to do myself"~ Jeff Goldberg
Before joining tiag, Jeff worked with software companies as vendor and partner. At Management Solutions & Systems, Inc. in Capitol Heights, Maryland, he directed the enterprise management services unit of this IT solutions and services provider. Primarily supporting the DoD and state and local government, Jeff generated more than $2 million in recurring annual contracts. Jeff and his team supported Walter Reed Army Medical Center’s North Atlantic Regional Medical Command, comprising 11 medical facilities that provide healthcare coverage to a 22-state area. Jeff architected the regional center deployment plan that included 15,000 seats at 60 sites across 22 states. As implementation team lead, Jeff saved the organization $1.5 million in deployment costs and an annual savings of $600,000 in vulnerability remediation.
Previously, at PANACYA Inc. in Columbia, Maryland, Jeff was a service management systems engineer for this provider of next-generation systems management software. Taking the lead on numerous pre-and post-sales implementations, Jeff also conducted product trials and assisted in the quality assurance phase for new-product releases, validated proof-of-concepts, and completed competitive analysis documentation for the sales team and potential clients. He generated interest in the company’s products through his compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and training seminars. Focused and dedicated to each client, Jeff provided prompt and personable response to commercial, civilian government agencies—crafting design/architecture proposals and statements of work.
Early in his career, Jeff embarked on his IT rite of passage as a senior enterprise management implementation consultant and systems engineer for CA Inc. Based in Herndon, Virginia (formerly known as Computer Associates International Inc.), CA is the world's largest management software company.
